There is this restaurant place in BF Homes, Paranaque that always made me curious. Everytime we pass by the place, it was always full. And yet it was not all that grand. It had a simple facade, simple signs. It's basically a house converted to a restaurant.
Tucked away inside BF Homes along El Grande Avenue is
Bento-Ya or
Tatsu No Ko restaurant. We had always wanted to try the place and this time we did. As you enter, you are greeted with the usual 'Irashaimase'. The place was simple, clean and rustic with japanese interiors.
There are 2 dining areas. The other one feels like you are home. Unfortunately, that is not where we stayed. We opted for where the TV was.
We ordered our usual favorites : Tempura, bbq, tempura udon, california maki. And there's one that we ordered for the first time : octopus sashimi. To me, it's too tough to eat so I think I won't try it again. Everything else was great. Price is reasonable also.
So if you are in for a rustic feel, do try
Bento-Ya/
Tatsu No Ko. I absolutely recommend it.
